I bought these in a pinch to play music at photo shoot; figured sure it'll be crappy, but it's less than $20. Man did it exceed expectations. The sound quality, at room filling but not crazy volume, is actually pretty good. No bass, but decent mids and highs, and more importantly, not a lot of distortion or clipping. Now it's a regular part of the kit. I play MP3s or stream Pandora via my Blackberry, simply plugs into the headphone jack.
