Using this product, you can select between two 3.5 headphone input lines in or out. The hardware feels well made and I can detect no signal mixing or noise from attached audio sources. The seller shipped it with some very strong velcro-like mounting tape.

I used this product for a very specific need, and it filled that need perfectly. Like many people that I know, I appreciate and enjoy good audio quality, but won't purchase a high end component home stereo. Instead, I found an excellent computer desktop sound system that provided the volume and quality I needed for my television and gaming entertainment center. I also wanted to have a convenient 3.5 headphone line in so that anyone in the house could use their phone, ipod, etc as a music station. I wanted the option to display video or games on the tv while listening to the alternate source. My sound system only had an attached 3.5 male headphone input. The tv didn't provide the option of controlling volume out through the audio out RCA jacks on the back. I guess the manufacturer figured I would handle it with my component stereo.

Anyway, this product provided a perfect switch to conveniently select between audio out from my tv and game sources, and audio out from an attached phone or auxiliary device. I mounted the product in a mostly invisible location in my entertainment center where there is a good place to stow the long 3.5 cable until it needs to be used. I can't express how convenient this makes things and allows me to leverage the inexpensive but powerful components from my entertainment system.
